The Unit...

I read this book a while ago and it was a fun read! It is Hunger-Games-like in the way it is something pretty far fetched but seems like it is pretty real when you are reading it. I really like it, I think you will like it!!

This book was recommended by Lacey, and was mentioned on the blog earlier. I read this book in like a weekend...I don't really know why. It wasn't amazing but I couldn't stop reading. It is all written in letter form, which is kinda weird but it worked and was pretty good.
Very predictable historical romance! But I really like it! Plus the best part is that is was very clean!

Unwind

YAY, my first book to add to the blog. It is a good one to start with because I loved this book! it is a YA book set in the future I guess. They don't believe in abortion but they do believe in "Unwinding" kids when they are 16. Being unwound means the kids are pretty much killed (even tho they say they are still living) they take each body part and donate them so when people need a transplant there are always available body parts. Anyway, its about 3 kids who are supposed to be unwound but they don't want to be so they run away......its was way good!
P.S. There was VERY little romance! :D

Dear John

So I just got done reading this, and I really liked it. I can't wait to go see it, I just have to talk Clay into taking me. It didn't end like I thought it would but sometimes that's good. It had a lot of romance but what I like about his books is that they don't usually get too physical. Good read.

The Rescue

I have been into the Nicolas Sparks books right now. I am liking the quick read after those Dan Brown books. I don't feel like I am neglecting my kids. Anyway this was an okay book. It didn't have as much romance as I would have thought, but it was still good.

The Da Vinci Code

Here is another Dan Brown book. I don't know if any of you are wanting to read these or not. I think they are really good. They kinda get known as a "hard read" only because you have to really pay attention to understand what is going on. The trick is just to watch the movie first. I also got the illustrated version and so it had all the pictures in the book of the different paintings and land marks. I think that helped me a lot. Anyway I think you guys should read one.
